Project Overview:

We are seeking a talented freelance developer to create a new and improved Order of the Desert Rat certificate for presentation to Marines and civilian employees upon reassignment or retirement from service. The certificate will serve as a meaningful token of appreciation, incorporating key elements of Marine Corps Logistics Barstow's heritage and symbolism.

Project Details:

The new certificate design should encompass the following elements:

Historic Route 66: As a significant landmark and symbol of the region's heritage, Historic Route 66 should be prominently featured in the background or as a border element.

Desert Tortoise: A representation of the indigenous wildlife, the desert tortoise should be integrated into the design, reflecting the natural environment of the area.

Wild Mustang: Symbolizing strength, resilience, and the untamed spirit of the desert. Marine Corps Logistics Barstow has the last remaining Mounted Color Guard in the Marine Corps. A wild mustang should be incorporated into the design, perhaps alongside the desert tortoise.

Artist's Vision of a Military Themed Desert Rat: This should be the central focus of the certificate, showcasing the artist's interpretation of a desert rat (dressed in the Marine Corps MARPAT uniform) within a military context, embodying qualities such as loyalty, camaraderie, and dedication to service.

Incorporation of Logos: The base logo of Marine Corps Logistics Barstow and the logo of the Marine Corps Mounted Color Guard should be included in a tasteful manner, emphasizing the connection to the organization and its traditions.
Design should be versatile to add recipient's name and date, and be created in A4 size and landscape orientation.

Deliverables:
