Use the Client ID and Client Secret obtained from the previous step to authenticate and request an access token from the Twitch API's OAuth endpoint. This typically involves making a POST request to the Twitch API with the appropriate parameters. Once you receive the access token from the Twitch API, store it securely and apply it during bot startup. And the important thing is to handle token expiration and refresh. For doing that, monitor the expiration tie of the token and auto-generate a new token using the token generation process described earlier, ensuring a seamless transition without requiring manual intervention.
